Finding some balance

It's been a good week, but the weekend got me a bit emotional... Maybe I'm a bit (w)hor(e)monal or something??
But then I saw this !! I could make my own doughnuts!! Obviously a healthier version ;)

I have been overspending and got told off about that... we do have priorities after all. Also on that note, we have to start applying for Safi's nursery's and I already managed to contact some but didn't have a chance to fill them up. Will have to after they go to sleep in the evening. So that is a progress and hopefully will be ticking some boxes very soon in regards to the house.

I wen to the IKEA website and I REALLY LOVE the cloud lamp isn't it lovely? I was thinking of the smaller version to the kids room - on the triple cord - like three clouds floating on different levels, oooooor  this classic - to create a balloon look (on the triple cord as well). I also fancy the cloud lamp for the loving room, because it is a little bit of a statement lamp but also quite subtle. But because there is a long living room, we will need two sets, so the other would be the round pendant (triple again) in the front part of the room, to make it bright. The back would be the cosy bit with a TV and a L shape cream sofa.
So yeah, right now I'm a little obsessed with the decor and trying to read all the magazines for some inspiration. I wish we weren't on the budget... but most people are anyway - so that's why there is IKEA and all the other stores haha.

Work uniform

After reading this article about a work uniform I jumped into getting one as well.
I feel like it's just such a liberating idea.

This is what I've picked for myself.
Super easy and comfortable.

Ice cream in Soho

The other day I was surprised by my OH and picked up by the whole family from work!!
Afterwards we went for ice cream!! They were yummy!!

Night night,

Photos from R's wedding

Finally I managed to go to the Apple Store and they amazingly fixed my phone!! Now I just have to be careful how many photos I take :/
So anyway, we had solo much fun. Safina got a little grumpy towards the end. Oh well.

The wedding took place on the land owned by Jane Austin. It was definitely a very English location. Very countryside and very beautiful. How amazing is that white peabride (obviously not a hen anymore ;)

nothing is working

My iPhone is gone...
The camera stopped working and now I can't use anything. I need to upload the new software and I don't have enough space and I have deleted all the apps and my camera is not working ... seriously? The only thing I've been using...
Oh, well.
On a good note - the mortgage has been approved and ... hmmm. I'm waiting for some sort of fault somewhere... that's what always happens right?
But secretly I'm browsing through ikea online and pintrest and instagram for some inspiration...
I want to  keep it simple. I was thinking about the open clothes rail in the bedroom, but I am just not super sure....
Ok, kisses for now.
No photos... none taken :(

The missing week

The week's gone by.
I was sick, got a third antibiotic this year - not so great. Sinus infection. Bad headache. Need to get some rest. Juggling kids and work and all the life in-between. Babies had fevers as well... not that great.

Today the day of the wedding.

Weather is finally so much better (although, it was raining yesterday). But in general about 17*C and sunny. We have ice cream and go to the park quite a bit. Toby is very very active though! He just walks away in a fast forward motion and doesn't look back.

Also. We found a house. Three bed. A very nice and good size garden (west facing!). Hopefully everything will go well this time!

April Fools

No funny jokes for me today, except for the one when they said there will be an Egg Hunt in the Children Centre in the park nearby. We got Safi a bucket to put the eggs in it and then when we got there, it said that due to heavy wind it's postponed... Ha Ha.
We did see a beautiful Magnolia though.

On another note, we still have properties to view. The market in London area is just crazy and it's getting much much much worse!! It's so awful. A little heartbreaking.
The other day we found out about the whole concrete house problem. Not many banks give mortgage, but later on it might be harder to sell. So no...
What else... more house viewings and looking at areas I never even heard of haha. But I know it's going to be ok in the end.
Safina is becoming more of a helper. She wants to do so many things. Toby when I tell him to point his nose he covers the whole face with both hands.

Goodnight,
xxx
