Make up

In the recent week I've been trying to look for a foundation that has a good coverage but is not too matty and doesn't make me look like a mask! I loved the Dior Nude I've had for the past year, but since it's finished I wanted to find something else.
On my days off I use the Nivea Cream with tint in it and it's not bad at all. You can find it on promotion in some stores and for like £3.50 it's a great buy!
I've tried the Lancome foundation but it didn't cover my red patches. Than when I was buying the Chanel lipstick in Gabrielle - what a lovely shade!! - I came across the Chanel CC Cream and it had a great coverage without being too heavy. It moisturised the skin and has SPF 50!! For the summer it's perfect!! So I got it and it really is amazing!! The lady in Boots applied it on my skin and then explained all the benefits, hyluronic acid, how it looks in different light (natural, artificial etc. veeeery cool). Recently though I had a sample of the Double Wear Estee Lauder and it id very nice as well!!

And now my new discovery from Banana Republic , a chambray dress. Isn't it cute?

Have a great end of he weekend,

Fabulous weather

The weather recently has been amazing! Yesterday we spent the whoooole day in the park!! It was a little cloudy at the beginning but later on it got very sunny and we loved it!
Today we went to the sandpit and it was also so nice, but way too short, especially for the babies, but looking after them made my eyes go funny. They ran off in two opposite directions, and stayed there!

On another note, we started getting replies from nurseries. I have only picked the Good ones by Ofsted and the ones that have a primary school. The one that we got first was one that's 1.4 miles away.... ooh a bit much. But then a phone call from the next door one followed and Safi has got a place there!!

No more boring things!!
London is soooo beautiful during the warm spring time!! Everything is blooming.
A week ago we went to Holland Park. Which is my favourite park in London. The wisterias in there smell just so awesome. There are tulips that look like skittles!
Beautifu beautiful!!

Also also, we met Paddington!!
On platform 1, there is a statue. It was love;y to meet him there!

More photos soon. Something doesn't want to upload... :/

Chiswick sandpit

After going to 'snakes and ladders' - an indoor play centre - we took the trip to the Chiswick sandpit, to tire the munchkins even more :)
 They loved it!

And some pretty flowers to wish you goodnight.

St. James Park

One day after work I was picked up by my sweethearts!
To make the most of the evening we decided to have some Japanese snacks and sushi and got to St. James Park. Toby was so excited to see the ducks and swans. Safi on the other hand panicked, as soon as a big duck came over to eat her ice cream! It got very chilly at the end so we didn't stay too long.

It's May!

Finally it's May!!

The weather is not giving in though :/ Yesterday it was raining, pouring (!!) but we still managed to go to Holland Park, which is one of my favourite parks! Ah, my favourite park in London! Wisterias were blooming so beautifully, and rhododendrons as well! So amazing!

This photo is the best description of us! I love it!

It's gorgeous isn't it?
In the summer, what normally happens we go to play in the sandpit, then we go to the Kyoto Garden with the gold fish and crane and peacocks and afterwards it's Gelato Mio time! They have the most amazing ice cream! There is always a little queue but it is worth it! My favourite are the lemon ones.

Finding some balance

It's been a good week, but the weekend got me a bit emotional... Maybe I'm a bit (w)hor(e)monal or something??
But then I saw this !! I could make my own doughnuts!! Obviously a healthier version ;)

I have been overspending and got told off about that... we do have priorities after all. Also on that note, we have to start applying for Safi's nursery's and I already managed to contact some but didn't have a chance to fill them up. Will have to after they go to sleep in the evening. So that is a progress and hopefully will be ticking some boxes very soon in regards to the house.

I wen to the IKEA website and I REALLY LOVE the cloud lamp isn't it lovely? I was thinking of the smaller version to the kids room - on the triple cord - like three clouds floating on different levels, oooooor  this classic - to create a balloon look (on the triple cord as well). I also fancy the cloud lamp for the loving room, because it is a little bit of a statement lamp but also quite subtle. But because there is a long living room, we will need two sets, so the other would be the round pendant (triple again) in the front part of the room, to make it bright. The back would be the cosy bit with a TV and a L shape cream sofa.
So yeah, right now I'm a little obsessed with the decor and trying to read all the magazines for some inspiration. I wish we weren't on the budget... but most people are anyway - so that's why there is IKEA and all the other stores haha.

Work uniform

After reading this article about a work uniform I jumped into getting one as well.
I feel like it's just such a liberating idea.

This is what I've picked for myself.
Super easy and comfortable.
